• Are you a leader who wants to create possibility in the world?

  • But what's happening in life, work - the world - is overwhelming.

  • Hard people dynamics keep you up at night.

  • Maybe you spend hours over-analyzing unresolved conflict. Within yourself - and between others.

  • Gripped by uncertainty, loss of control, blame, or self-doubt.

  • You are not alone.

Hi, I’m Erica.

People are complex. Emotions are messy. Human relationships are hard. Period.

The problem is, most people spend more hours being taught how to drive a car than how to get along. And get things done together.

Defensiveness, blame, shame, and self-righteousness undermine our own potential – and our relationships.

Most conflict resolution, leadership development, and Diversity, Equity, Inclusion efforts are not effective.

It doesn’t have to be this way.

Erica’s approach led to tremendous amount of learning. More importantly, I realized there is so much science that one can leverage to manage the hard things in life - conflict, difficult situations, to simply how to have better conversations with people everyday.

Erica offered us both the toolkit and container to practice empathetic listening skills and authentic leadership. This is particularly important during this chaotic time when we need to build the emotional capacity to sustain ourselves inside when everything else is falling apart.
— Daisy Huang, Product Manager, Meta
This was the most transformative educational experience I have ever had. I experienced inspiration, human connection, and “whole-ness” for the first time. I now have a need and desire to find ways to integrate this into my everyday life.

I’ve taught over 1000 business leaders, social entrepreneurs, MBA students, and CEOs. I focus on equipping them with essential skills for working through inevitable challenges:

Conflict and polarization. Diversity and power dynamics. Increasing uncertainty and upheaval. Global crises.

It’s not easy work. It takes effort and practice. For the sake of what? So we can get on with what’s most important:

Accomplish shared purpose and create possibility together.

My course, “Interpersonal Skills and Embodied Systems Leadership,” is one of the most popular at UC Berkeley Haas School of Business.

Key Missing Pieces

Interrupt unconscious fight-flight reactivity.
”See” hidden power dynamics.
Embody joy. Transform your inner critic.
Practice. Many reps of practice.

The Neuroscience of Disconnection and Connection

Learning about how our fight-or-flight neurobiology works helped me understand how I transformed decades of shame and a fierce inner critic into meaningful relationships and inspired purpose anchored in self-worth and connection.

Now I help leaders and teams do the same.
